I'm hearing about Tattoo shops starting to use removable inks. I'm not sure if there are any Tattoo Shops in Miami using these inks, but I know we're not. I have to say I don't have an opinion yet. I think both sides have a good argument. I know that tattoo shop ownwers and tattoo artists make a good argument why they don't like it as well as tattoo customers who said that the idea is interesting. These are some of my thoughts:
Tattoo Artist: Why would you get a Tattoo if you could remove it?
Tattoo Customer: But how many people want to get a Tattoo removed?
Tattoo Artist: Tattoos are meant to be permanent to remember your journey through life?
Tattoo Customer: How many people later wish to move on from old distant memories?
Tattoo Artist: The Tattoo experience is meant to go through with the belief and understanding that it is permanent?
Tattoo Customer: New age sometimes call for new or different experiences?
Tattoo Artist: People won't take the Tattoo Industry seriously anymore, it'll be like Henna Tattoos?
Tattoo Customer: Tattoos have become a point of fashion and attitude, and fashions and attitudes change?
Again I'm not sure what my opinion is just yet, but I do know that the Tattoo Industry is constantly growing and moving in directions that is well beyond our control. Growth is good, but not always. Sometimes you think you change things for the better and it becomes worse. You just never know. I do know that the Tattoo Industry is growing as the 6th fastest retail in the country. Is that good or bad?
Send me an email if you have a response, and if what you have to say is interesting enough I'll post it in the blog.
